Reterniti Stones are intended to look as natural and discreet as possible. Rather than a hollow stone with ashes inside, a Reterniti Stone is 100% your pet’s ashes.
Each stone is laser engraved with your pet’s name and years of life.
An eco-friendly send off
Reterniti do not use man-made resins or petrochemicals in our process. The small amount of binding material is all natural.
If buried, a stone will slowly reintegrate with the earth over a few years. If placed in water a stone will retain its shape initially and eventually disperse over the course of about 12 months.
In either case the stone material, your pets’ cremains, are inert, non-toxic and not harmful to the environment.
Each stone is crafted by a skilled artisan
Reterniti believe in good old-fashioned craftsmanship. Each stone is lovingly and carefully made by one stone maker.
The inside lid of the display box is individually signed and dated by the craftsman.
Each stone comes with its own American ash wood display plinth, inside a book cloth bound display box; and is protected in transit with layers of New Zealand lamb’s wool.

FAQs
Is the Reterniti stone an actual stone?
No, it is stone-like. It’s entirely your pets ashes. The materials we use for the binding process are non-toxic and eco-friendly.
What will my Reterniti stone look like?
Aside from the six primary sizes which are dictated by animal size, each stone really is unique. No two are alike. Some will have the odd tiny surface hole, small dimples or minor undulations. Others may have a pronounced grainy texture or blemishes. In some cases, we see the barest of surface hairline cracks; these are normal, they don’t extend all the way through and our binding & sealing products ensure the Stone will remain sturdy and safe. They are perfectly imperfect, reflecting the fact they are essentially organic and we like to think the imperfections are the character of your pet expressing itself.
What colour will my stone be?
Each stone is unique and will be slightly different in colour, hue and texture. Colours range from cream/ white to tones of grey. We’ve seen pale duck-egg blues, through to tinges of rusty browns. Some have a pronounced graininess; others are as smooth & white as plaster.
Do you use all the ash?
The process uses only your pets’ ashes with organic binder. They are handled and processed separately. A fraction, less than 1% may be lost in production. For large animals there may be a little left over in which case we will contact you.
How do I know a Reterniti stone is actually my pet?
Each order is handled separately and to the highest possible degree of workmanship. Furthermore, our process is independently audited and guaranteed. Our integrity is the cornerstone of our business and our promise to you.
I already have my pets ashes, can I have them turned to a Reterniti stone?
Yes. You may have had your pets’ ashes for years, that’s fine. We can turn those to a Reterniti Stone at any time
